Jersey Shore brings together “guidos” and “guidettes” – a term referring to Italian American individuals who are known to a fan of tans, muscles, and partying. The show is half “Real World” style but also has more enduring elements associated with shows like “The Hills” and “The City”. Mike ‘the situation’ takes the role of leader of the house, but he is confronted with many problems along the way from the crazy cast situated in New Jersey’s shore.
